How many removal treatments should I expect to undergo with the PicoWay?

I have my first Lazer tattoo removal session in 2 weeks my tattoo will be a month old I hate the placement and I really wanting it gone the nurse didn’t really tell me about how many treatments she thinks it would be to remove it I’m getting treatment done with the pick way Lazer

Most patients see significant fading after several sessions and reach a satisfactory point. Each successive treatment is often has less effect than the previous. Keep in mind, not all patients can have 100% of removal, of the tattoo but the best approach is a combination of pico and nano technology. Depending on how many sessions you have, the lines may look faded instead of completely erased. Be sure to see a licensed technician if you decide to go froward with the treatments.

This can be removed with laser tattoo removal. You'll want to wait until it's completely healed (4-6 weeks). Tattoos should be removed with q switched or pico lasers.  It will take a series of treatments, but it's difficult to determine how many sessions are needed. Thank you for your question. Yes, your tattoo can be removed with laser tattoo removal, however it advisable to wait till your tattoo is healed in 4-6 weeks. It can take 6-10 sessions to see 70-90% removal. I recommend addressing any concerns you may have with your treating physician. Best of Luck!

Hello, thank you for your questions and for including a photo.  The way a laser rids the body of unwanted ink is, it shatters the ink into tiny particles and the body absorbs those particles. The PicoWay laser is the very latest technology in laser tattoo removal. This type of device can usually remove unwanted ink in about half as many treatments as the traditional Q-switch devices.  That being said, I would guesstimate between 4-8 treatments.

Thank you for your question and posting pictures.  We tell every picosecond laser tattoo patient to expect at least 6 treatments, but don’t be surprised if it takes 10 to 12.  Patience is the key for our patients.  We typically see our tattoo removal patients every 8 to 12 weeks initially.  We eventually encourage them to wait up to 6 months as the tattoos seem to continue to fade while they wait.  Best of luck.
