Would serrapeptase attack the implant?

Question

Maybe a dumb question (I am very over-cautious), but I have silicone implants and I am interested in taking the enzyme serrapeptase. I don't have capsular contracture, I am interested in it for other non-plastic surgery related reasons. I know it attacks non-living tissue in the body. I am wondering if it would attack the implant? Is it safe to take without compromising my beautiful results?

There is no  evidence to suggest that  Serrapeptase would harm breast implants.  It is an enzyme that is often taken for its anti inflammatory properties.

The best way to assess and give
true advice would be an in-person exam.

It would be extraordinarily unusual for a help supplement to cause an effect with a breast implant. Although no studies have been done regarding this, one would not expect serrapeptase to be able to cause and effect on the scar wall that surrounds the implant. One would also not expected to have an action on the implant wall.

Thank you for your question. Serrapeptase is a proteolytic (protein destroying) enzyme that is often taken for it's anti-inflammatory properties. There is no  evidence to suggest that it would harm breast implants.
