I recently started thinning out and I want the best version of this treatment possible. I want to stop thinning before it’s too late. Which treatments give better results? A lot of clinics seems to favor PRFM a the “advanced” version of PRP?
Answer: Hair loss — spironolactone/finesteride, PRP/acell/exosomes, emeragecosmetics Restorsea spray, Viviscal, anteageMD stem cells You need a formal evaluation to see what type of hair loss you may have. When you have hair loss, it's best to do a full hormonal workup for internal optimization, evaluate it with a dermatoscope, and consider scalp biopsies or scrapings to rule out any stress related, inflammatory, autoimmune or infectious causes of hair loss. In general, most people with early hair loss have telogen (stress related) and/or androgenetic (normal aging) and both can be treated with in office treatments like steroid injections, PRP/Acell, Exosomes and at home treatments like oral medications like Finasteride or Spironolactone, oral vitamins like Viviscal, topical exfoliating sprays like Restorsea, and weekly growth factors like anteagemd. See an expert for an evaluation. If hair loss is significant it may requires hair transplant (follicular unit translation).

Answer: Both are equivical There's not enough data to really support that one is better than the other, and will Yield better results. Just know that about a third of the patients may not get results, Another third gets some results and And another third gets excellent results. It depends on many factors outside of your control, like the patient's overall health and age.

Answer: PRP vs. PRFM: the Battle Continues I use PRFM (platelet-rich fibrin matrix) at my practice instead of PRP (platelet-rich plasma). We would take your blood and spin it down into PRFM which has more rejuvenative ability than PRP by itself. It stimulates more stem cells and stays in the area a lot longer. I have had great results with PRFM.

Answer: Combination treatments are key Hair loss is quite complex. There are many reasons for hair loss. You need to combine different techniques to obtain the best result. However, which combination depends from person to person since not everybody reacts in the same way. I always combine PRP with PRF since they complement each other.PRF will create a sort of matrix that helps to keep in place the growth factors for a longer time period.Longer active PRP = better success rates.
