I am on my 5-6th month of Accutane now and have struggled with headaches since the start. Recently, I have had a severe pressure like headache that sends me close to being sick. I would almost put it down to a migraine, but since I don’t suffer from them usually I wouldn’t know. Could this headache be from my Accutane and if so, could it be serious?

Females must be sure they are not pregnant before taking accutane. otherwise it is safe.. the problem is that taking it for a month may not be enough and some people flare when they start.. I generally begin slowly with a lower dose and increase the dose as improvement is seen.. Some docs...

Discuss it with your dermatologist. They will be able to get you started properly, and help you manage the dryness.
