Is rhinoplasty my only hope for achieving a normal side profile? (Photos)

im extremely insecure about my side profile, i have a very big nose that takes up most my face and a huge overbite, yet there’s still some chin projection making me look like a witch. is a rhinoplasty my only option? i also don’t understand how my side profile looks a thousand times worse when photos of me are taken further away from the camera. i’m desperate please help, would fillers be a good temporary solution? or is my only hope saving up for a rhino.

The profile photos are distant and taken at different angles, but they suggest a prominent convex nasal dorsum and a somewhat downward tip. They also suggest that the relationship between the upper jaw, lower jaw, lips, and chin contributes to the profile. These images are not suitable for diagnosing the overbite or measuring jaw projection, and your profile should not be reduced to whether it looks “normal.”

Rhinoplasty is the only procedure that can make the nose structurally smaller or reduce a hump, but it is not necessarily the first decision when a significant overbite is present. An orthodontic and, when appropriate, maxillofacial evaluation can determine whether the bite is dental or skeletal. Correcting the bite or jaw relationship can materially change facial balance and may alter what nasal change you want afterward.

Nasal filler cannot reduce the nose; it adds volume to camouflage a contour and may make a prominent nose look larger from some angles. It is temporary and carries rare but serious vascular risks, including skin injury and vision loss, so it should not be treated as a casual trial. Camera distance, lens, posture, and head rotation explain why different photos can look surprisingly different. Start with standardized profile photographs and coordinated consultations rather than rushing into either filler or surgery while feeling desperate.

Based on what we see, you appear to have a long nasal appearance, with a hanging columella, and a dorsal hump. I believe that adding fillers to your nose would only lead to a larger nasal appearance. Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving hump reduction, nasal shortening, along with a slight tip lift, for a less distracting, and more feminine nasal profile appearance. You would benefit from a rhinoplasty. The angle between your nose and lip is approximately 90 degrees and it should be 110 degrees. You also have a prominent nose but it looks more prominent because you have a very weak chin. If you cannot afford a rhinoplasty at this time then I recommend a less expensive procedure, which would be a chin implant. This is done through an intra-oral incision so there are no external scars. The chin implant will add balance to your face and decrease the problems of your nose.

Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers.
