Open rhinoplasty keloid - what are the risks? (Photo)

About 30 years ago, after a vaccination I received when I was in primary school, I developed a keloid on my upper arm, close to my shoulder. I am currently 37 years old. This is my only keloid. I have five ear piercings, and none of them developed keloids. During a normal vaginal delivery, a 2–3 cm incision was made and stitched, and no keloid formed there either. In addition, I once had stitches on my hand, and those also healed normally. In short, my only keloid is the 30-year-old one on my arm. This year, because I have been experiencing breathing problems, I want to have nasal surgery. While having this surgery, I would also like to slightly improve the shape of my nose. I have found a doctor I trust very much, and he performs rhinoplasty using the open technique. He says that the nose is not an area prone to keloid formation and that he has never seen a keloid form on a nose in his professional career. However, I am still worried because there will be a stitch in the middle of my face. Do you think my concerns are unfounded? (PS:My nostrils will not be narrowed; there will only be a columellar incision.)
