Why is my foot still swollen and incision site bleeding? (photo)

Question

I had lipoma surgery on the 12th of April. On the 22 of April the 6 stitches were removed. On my right foot just beside the ankle. They put on steri strips after stitch removal and after surgery they told me to continue with normal activities.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Unfortunately the photographs supplied offer limited views of your tissues and I would address your bleeding concerns with your surgeon so as to get the best advice.

you are still in early post-operative period and you can expect some swelling. I suggest you to follow your surgeon's instructions and consult him in case you have any concerns.
