my dentist gave me an xray and said i need root-canal treatment, however i'm suspicious that he may not be honest

Hi ,In order for assessment you will require to have a PA X-ray as well which shows apex of the root in question and surrounding bone .It’s possibly that your dentist has mentioned you might need a root canal treatment.
