Spaces between grafts 5 days after hair transplant, is this normal? (photos)

It is normal to shed transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.  If you see spaces, there may have been no hairs placed there or the hairs may have fallen out.

This appears perfectly normal for 5 days post transplant. Some of the scabs were likely cleaned off after surgery, so this post op picture is what should be expected,

Yes, it is normal after a hair transplant to see spaces because by this time, all of the grafts can't be seen; however, you have too much crusting on your head which should have been washed off after the surgery and not allowed to form
