Can hair be transplanted if the donor hair is permed?

It is best to discuss your plans and address any question with your doctor who will be performing your surgery.  Every doctor has their own particularities and may want you to avoid certain things.  In general, having a perm should not affect your surgery.

Having a perm should not affect the transplant. Perms only affect the hair outside of the scalp, while transplants are all about the tissue within the skin.

You can perm your hair one month before the eyebrow hair transplant as within a month, the last 1-2 inch of hair will grow out with nothing in it and without the perm impact on the hair shaft
