Can hair be transplanted if the donor hair is permed?

I'm meant to be getting a wave perm in my hair on Monday - but I'm also having an eyebrow transplant in approximately one month. I'm assuming the donor hair will be coming from my head... Should I cancel my perm, or will this not affect my results? Thanks!

A successful hair transplant surgery is a reflection of the surgeon and the team.  Double hair grafts should never be placed on the hairline.

It would be unlikely to lose grafts in the shower after 10 days post surgery.  If you are concerned check with your doctor for a follow up exam.

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.  If you are having issues, it is best to follow up with your doctor for an examination.

Hair transplant surgery is not about "how many grafts" you need, but about how a doctor can match your goals and expectations.  In general, an average person may have up to 8000 grafts available as their donor hair in their life time.

Can I use caboki or toppik hair building fiber on FUT scar within a month after hair transplant? (Photos)

After one month, you can do almost anything including using Toppik.  Artifical hair is not approved in the United States as it poses risks of infection and scarring.  SMP may be another option.

The cost of hair transplant surgery differs from doctor to doctor / from clinic to clinic.  It is best you see different doctors in your area.5000 grafts is an unusually high number of grafts (for a single surgery).
