I scheduled my CO2 laser treatment (along with other procedures) 3 weeks from now without realizing the possible need to use Retin-A/Retinol prior to this time. (I spoke to an aesthetician recently who mentioned using it at least 6 weeks before my surgeries and stopping 2 weeks before surgery). I would only be able to use the Retinol for 1 week if this is true. The aesthetician mentioned improved healing time and less bruising with Retinol. Is Retin-A/Retinol absolutely necessary for good results?
