Do I need surgery for my armpit fat?? 1.5 wks post 900cc saline implants. Will it be less noticeable when they drop? (photos)

Dear fusionelitecheer,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD

as that would determine if anything can be done to improve your outcome.  At this point, you really need to focus on getting your implants to settle.  In my practice, you would be in a very snug strap  24/7 except for showers and sanity breaks.  And this is done until you're comfortable with  how your upper poles look.  In your case, this could takes weeks.  Keep your surgeon informed of your concerns and your surgeon would be best qualified to tell you if you axillary fullness can be improved upon.

Hi and thanks for your question.  After only 1.5 weeks you will still have significant swelling and it would be difficult to determine what your end result is yet. I would suggest continuing to follow up with your surgeon and see how things go over the next 6 weeks.
