Can you CoolSculpt on upper ribs?

Question

each both of my breasts on my upper ribs. Is it safe to coolsculpt those areas. Is it safe for my ribs, heart, veins ect? If applicator was placed wrong,could it decrease the size of my breasts?

Coolsculpting is good for removing stubborn areas of fat within a treated area and won't decrease the size of your ribs or endanger your organs, ribs or veins. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. CoolSculpting is designed to reduce unwanted fat that is just below the surface of the skin.  An examination of you would be needed to determine if there is enough fat, in your area of interest on the upper ribs, to be treated.  CoolSculpting will not affect the heart or ribs or veins, but it is possible to develop temporary redness or bruising of the treated area.

While this area of the ribs/abdomen doesn't contain high amounts of fat, it is possible to eliminate cells that are holding out in this area. Technicians are incredibly careful and the procedure is very low-risk, so chances of breast reduction are incredibly slim.

To determine if you are a good candidate for CoolSculpting it is mandatory that you have a proper consultation and physical examination of the areas of concern. First you would have to be evaluated by a medical professional well versed in the coolsculpting procedure. Preferably someone that was trained at CoolSculpting University. This would determine if the area you are concerned with is appropriate for the coolsculpting procedure. If treatment is indicated, the main side effects are soreness, redness, bruising and numbness at the treatment area. The system is designed to only teat/effect the adipose (fat) tissue under the skin. The bones and organs will not be effected.

The only way it could affect the breast tissue is if it was placed directly on the breasts. Ensuring no breast tissue is inserted into the applicator at time of placement is essential.
