Will taping the nose 5 months after a rhinoplasty make a difference / make any changes to the nose?

Thank you for your question. Swelling of the tip of the nose after rhinoplasty is very common. I generally wait one year before making any determination as to whether the tip needs to be refined any further. Taping on the bridge of the nose and in the supratip area can help resolve some of the swelling, but you may require a cortisone injection. I do not think that taping the nose at 5 months will help in any real way.  It may help swelling temporarily.
