The ringing may be the result of many things, but there may be fluid in that ear or this may be the result of medications. An examination and careful history would be needed to sort this out. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
No, its not normal. I would discussing it with your surgeon and possibly get an evaluation with an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist.
Ringing in your ears for four days following breast augmentation surgery and liposuction is not normal and most likely not directly related to undergoing surgery. As others have indicated, this could be caused by fluid in your ear for a few reasons. You should notify your plastic surgeon who can obtain more specifics and evaluate you. He/she may also have you be seen by either your PCP or and ENT MD.
Ringing in the ears or tinnitis is not a normal condition following a surgical procedure. There may be several simple solutions such as fluid in the ear canal. It could be due to medications. Ringing of the ear can happen temporarily with an overdose of lidocaine but it would be unlikely for this to persist for 4 days. If this condition persists let your plastic surgeon know and you may need a referral to an ENT physician.
This is not a common post-op issue. It may be related to a medication you were given or perhaps are still taking. A call into your surgeon would be appropriate. Best wishes.
This symptom is quite uncommon. You should see your surgeon to sort out the cause. It could be something simple like fluid in the ear that would get better with a decongestant. Although it is not likely to be dangerous, it should be evaluated.

The difference between 400 and 425 is maybe a couple of millimeters... it's so tiny you can't tell once they are in. When my patients ask for an exchange and want to go bigger, I recommend a 75-100cc increase to see a noticeable increase in size. Best thing for you would be to see...
