Slightly raised broken blood vessel on my cheek - what would be the best treatment? (Photo)

Hi I am 50 and at some point last year, a raised blood vessel appeared on my cheek. The center is slightly raised and it has a few spider edges and is the size of an eraser in all. I have fair to medium skin, don't sunburn easily. What would be the best treatment?

Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Get the spot checked by a dermatologist to verify the diagnosis. If it’s a spider angioma, the best treatment is with pulsed dye laser. Minimize sun exposure/wear daily sunscreen prior to laser treatment.
