Honestly you can do q switched or picosecond lasers but fractional co2 or even liquid nitrogen therapy will work.  Multiple treatments with TCA peel can also give a result.  I suggest you see a cosmetic dermatologist with experience.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Cafe au lait spots are historically difficult to treat. The most definitive treatment, 1-shot, is cutting out the lesion. Other things like laser or liquid nitrogen will require multiple treatments and can fade to some degree the lesion, although permanent removal is difficult.
