Hi, it's been over 24 hours since I got my first laser hair removal treatment and there are still red bumps on my upper lip is this normal and how long will It take for them to go away

Thanks for your question. The endpoint for many of the laser hair removal devices is post-treatment redness and what we call perifollicular edema, which are the bumps you are describing. This is not unusual or uncommon, and this should resolve rather quickly in the next day or so. The person performing these treatments should have gone over this with you; this is part of the consultation process that should be standard for all those getting laser hair removal.

Quite frequently there can be bumps or redness after laser hair removal. We usually apply a bit of hydrocortisone to treated areas to help with this. You can certainly do his at home as well and it will help.
