Does $5,500 seem like a fair price for PRP/Stem cell/Acell procedure?

Hi, I have been looking around my area (new england) in search of a good Dr for PRP/Stemcell/Acell and came across NEHAIR. The doctor said for all three combined the cost would be $5,500. Is this a fair price for what they offer?

In my opinion there is no need to add A cell to PRP.  When adding A cell there is additional trauma and the possibility of swelling and more downtime. In addition there is an additional  possibility for a  allergic reaction as well as  shock loss from the pressure of the extra A cell. We've had good results without using A cell and the price is significantly less.Prphairmd.com

Thank you for your question. 5,500$ seems very expansive if he is using Acell and PRP . It should be within 2200-2800$ range taking into consideration that he is going to do micro needling and vitamin injection alone with PRP and Acell. If he uses placental stem cells , then 5500$ is a reasonable but still on higher side.

Acell is ineffective and does not work.The cost would depend on the type and amount of PRP obtained but seems reasonable for a volume of 24ml of PRP which should provide enough for an entire scalp.
