Why aren't my age spots darkening after BBL? 1 day p.o.

Question

The last time I had this down years ago, my spots turned dark and eventually flaked off? This is my second treatment and once again I don't have any darker spots to flake off. When it didn't happen the first time, she turned up the laser. It's been 24 hours and I don't see anything.

Not all brown spots are the same.  Flat age spots may not respond to BBL while brown sun spots should respond.It is best to consult a dermatologist who can diagnose your brown spots and determine which treatment would be best for you.

IPL isn't a laser primarily for dark spots.  It is intensed pulsed light and not a laser specifically designed for dark spots.  It could be that they didn't use enough Joules to treat your dark spots.  I recommend the Alex Tri-Vantage laser which is specifically designed for dark sun spots.  Best, Dr. Green
