Do BBL treatments work with Asian skin?

We recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon or a trained physician assistant working in plastic surgery for a consultation to determine if you are a candidate for the procedure. BBL will treat any underlying redness, hyperpigmentation, brown spots and skin imperfections to reveal bright, even-toned skin with no downtime.  BBL is approved to treat most skin types.  However, keep in mind that your provider may be a little more conservative when treating you so as to avoid hyperpigmentation.  Therefore, you may need a few more treatments to reach your best results.

Broadband Light (BBL) may be used on Asian skin types, however, settings may be adjusted to prevent complications like hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation.  You may also need additional treatments as we must use extra precaution when treating this skin type.  I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon and/or physician assistant who performs BBL treatments often.
