Inevitably cleft lip patients will have a scar. Some will have such a finite scar that almost nobody will know. Go see your local paediatric plastic surgeon to see if a revision in the long run could improve your scar

It is typically possible to improve scarring following cleft lip repair. The correct choice requires an examination of the scar and determination of what troubles you about the scar. Treatments range from injections to soften the scar tissue, resurfacing to smooth it or surgery to remove the scar and replace it with a surgical scar.
