Regrow breast tissue after weight loss?

Question

I have suffered with fluctuating weight most of my life, particularly throughout my adolescent and teen years. I am now 26 and still losing...but my breast have just suffered. Super saggy and have never really ever been "perky" (probably because I was overweight when they were developing). Is there any way to grow/regrow breast tissue lost from my weight loss? Or will I have to consider breast implants? HELP please...:-(

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately there is no way to regrow breast tissue. You will need to consider breast augmentation, or fat transfer if you are wanting fuller breasts. As for the sagging tissue you may want to consider a lift as well. To better answer your questions please research a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area and set up a consolation. Once your weight has been stable for 6-12 months, you could consider a breast augmentation with or without a lift.  Be sure to see a BC PS.

Breasts do not regrow. They get larger with pregnancy and weight gain and smaller with age and weight loss. You should see a plastic surgeon and discuss what can be done. We do lifts and can add implants if they are needed.

You will need to consider breast enlargement, either with implants or fat grafting. In either case, but especially with fat grafting you should be close to your goal weight before proceeding. Photos would help here. Many patients with your history will also need to think about a breast lift to reposition the nipples and areola, and to trim the excess skin.Best wishes.
