Would a breast lift allow me to stay my old size (34D), or would I have to get implants?

The only way to determine this is to examine you in person.  You need to see a BC PS in your area.  I would recommend Dr. Clapson in Saskatoon.

You are describing loss of volume when you say you don't have the fullness you used to have. A lift will reposition the nipple onto a higher location but you will still be hollow on top as you are now. You will need an implant to recover the volume you lost.

Breast lifts do not change the size of your breasts. From your description you are going to want to strongly consider implants with a lift if you are looking for significany upper pole fullness. The lift will reposition the nipple and tighten the skin but lifts don't tend to increase upper pole fullness.

A breast lift removes extra skin but preserves most if not all of the breast tissue. If you like your present size, there is no need to add an implant. If you are worried about being big enough afterwards, you may want a small implant or fat transfer as well. I think you should emphasize what your breasts will look like and your physical comfort aftr the procedure rather than a bra size. No surgeon can warranty a bra size for you.

Judging from your history you have lost a fair amount of volume. The only reason you fit into your 34 D bras is because the sagging of your breasts occupies volume in your bras. I find this as being quite common among my patients. Implants will restore the volume you lost and the lifting will correct the breast sagging. But you need to consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to get the final say. Good luck!

Photographs would be helpful, however in most cases after breast volume has been lost and the breasts sag, a breast lift plus breast augmentation with implants is usually required to restore you to your original shape after pregnancy. Breast implants add volume to your breast. Mastopexy ( breast lift) changes the shape of the breast. After a breast lift, you will have the same breast volume, but just reshaped.
