Is anything available for treating hair loss due to having scleroderma?

My scleroderma has really affected my hair! It's so thin you can see my scalp! Is the laser hair cap, hair transplant, anything an option for me?

In my opinion, you should be using both finasteride and minoxidil. Finasteride is an excellent medication to decrease DHTand may decrease loss due to genetic causes. The white stuff at the end of the hair is most likely a waxy substance produced by an oil gland. This is normal.  It does not mean you are losing hair.

Generic finasteride 1mg should have the same ingredient as brand name Propecia. The difference is the name.If you believe your medication is counterfeit, then followup with your doctor.  There is no way to tell from a photo.
