I've always been insecure about having hip indents(hip dip) and I admire the curvy "coke shape" body. I am a slim woman, about 5'6 and weigh about 140. I don't have a lot of fat except my thighs and I am ok with the size of my butt (hehe) I just really want larger hips.
Answer: Fat grafting Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. You may be a candidate for fat grafting to your hips. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Wider hips there are two parts to this question one is about hips and the others about pricing. If you want fat removed and transferred to your hips, this is considered fat transfer. Whether it gets inserted into your hips only or whether you have a complete bbl the fat is being transferred in the procedure is essentially the same. The Buttock is a complex area because it has many transitional areas: the back, the waist, the lateral thigh, and the posterior thigh. In bbl procedures, the fat is feathered and transitioned well so that all these curves are nice and smooth. To simply put fat in one area of your hips would not achieve that result. As far as pricing is concerned prices range greatly and I'm sure you can see this on Real Self. prices vary greatly with region, with expertise and results.

Answer: BBL if you have enough fat in your thighs, then it might be reasonable to augment your hips. Results might be limited by fat available and your goals.

Answer: Fat transfer for wider hips The indent on the side of the hips is very common and yes, smooth curve looks more attractive. Fat transfer will help and that is the best option . Personal consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will reveal how much donor area fat you have available in inner thighs, and if it is adquate.
