Went to my ortho to get my second set of trays and he asked me to double up on elastics. He was happy w bit progress. Normal?

I believe that I just answered your question concerning your forgetting to wear your elastics for one day. If your orthodontist recommends that you double these elastics follow his instructions.

If your orthodontist recommends this, I think this is the appropriate treatment. I think this is normal treatment and would not vary from his recommendation.Elastics are worn to put pressure on the teeth so that they will move up and or down on both upper and lower arches.Very good question!!!

hello,you need to be very regular in wearing your trays and elastics for adequate and faster results.elastics need to be worn for almost 24 hours to get desired result.and doubling elastics is required sometimes if one elastic does not give desired force levels.
