Can I get Dysport and Juvederm two days after stopping antibiotics?

Question

I am on antibiotics a round of ciprofloxacin and metronidazole and will be done with them 2 days before my appointment for dysport and juvederm. I'm going to take my meds to appointment with me. Do you know if there is any reactions with mixing these?

Thank you for your question.  Any antibiotics would not interact with Dysport or Juvederm.  However, it is always good to advise your physician that you are taking or have taken antibiotics.  All the best.

that’s a great question.  The antibiotics will not interact with Dysport or Juvederm.  However, it is recommended to have no active infection for 1-2 weeks before filler injections.

Thank you so much for your question regarding dysport and juvederm.  Taking antibiotics is not a contraindication for filler or Dysport treatment.  I do recommend letting your provider know you have recently taken antibiotics.

You can proceed with Dysport and filler treatment as long as you have finished your antibiotics and the infection has resolved.
