Question

I have had a middle face lift and lower eye lid surgery in London 7 months ago. My left tear trough has a big indentation with persistent swelling and pain. When I lose my left eye, the muscle feels attached. Also, the malar area is bruise and swelling all the time. There us a little hole on the eye lid. Last week when I touch it I was horrified to feel a stitch like stuff there. I went to A&E. They did a scan and will see me urgently after Christmas. My surgeon keep on ignoring my emails to him

I'm so sorry to hear that your surgeon hasn't been readily available for you. That's quite concerning, and seeking care elsewhere is warranted if that's the situation.
I would need to know a lot more about what exactly was done and used in your situation to counsel you better. That being said, there could be some tethering of the skin around your eye giving you that sensation where the indention is present. 
This may be able to be resolved in the office under local anesthesia with tissue release. Keep us posted as to your progress.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are having since surgery.  If you are unable to reach your surgeon I encourage you to meet with another board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation. An exam is needed to determine the best way to address your concerns.
