Do not seek a direct brow lift. The surgery involved a visible incision at the top of the eyebrow and is terribly disfiguring. The surgeon may proclaim their confidence in performing this surgery without making a viable scar, but I see many patients who have had this work with other very qualified surgeons seeking options to revise these disfigure scars at the eye brow. Surgeons simply over estimate their ability to make a scar in a visible location that is acceptable. The temple lift is another disfiguring surgery that is performed by well meaning surgeons. I would not recommend this procedure. You have mild bilateral upper eyelid ptosis with compensatory eyebrow elevation. There appears to be mild lateral canthal disinsertion. Canthal surgery at the time of an anchor blepharoplasty with anterior levator resection ptosis surgery would help reestablish a more open, bright eye. The ptosis repair will allow the upper eyebrows to relax down allowing the muscles at the eyebrows to relax and soften. This would give you a more appealing appearance. While these methods are my standard approach to eyelid surgery, what I am describing is very sophisticated and produces a very natural result. Please be careful what you look for out there. Your eyes can be your best feature.
