Previous Invisalign client...options? Teeth have regressed.

Question

I had Invisalign done 8-9 years ago. I wore the retainers for a long time. However now I have two teeth that have regressed to their old spot. And it's a little badd to just use the old retainers. What should I do? My old ortho lives far away but should I see if I can reorder the old trays and redo some of them? Or do I have to do the express with a new ortho. Looking for help with the easiest cheapest option. Thanks

Your least expensive option would be to see your previous orthodontist and let him/her retreat your case. Your old trays will not fit at this point. Unfortunately Invisalign only allows doctors to use their technology on the same patient for up to 5 years. After 5 years Invisalign considers you a new patient and new lab fees are required. Most orthodontists charge a small treatment fee to retreat a case plus the Invisalign lab fee.
