Changing aligners faster with Propel?

Question

I'm currently using invisalign, and i just had propel done last week. I was told to change my aligners weekly, but i was wondering if i could change every 3 to 5 days instead, depending on how tight the aligners feel.

Once the initial movement begins (fist 2 aligners) you should be able to achieve 99% of movements in 5 days after propel MOPS are performed. Many of my clear aligner cases are even reduced to changing aligners every 3-5 days following Propel treatment.

With Propel, you should be able to change your aligners more often.It really depends on how difficult the movements are, as to exactly how often you change the aligners. Your Dentist or Orthodontist should be able to give you some guidance.Move from every 7 days to 5 days, and see how things feel.As you get thru a few trays at 5 days, and the aligners are tracking,the teeth are moving, and they are not real tight, try 4 days. From there,you may be able to go to 3 days, but speak to your Invisalign provider!

Maybe.....depending on if you faithfully wear your aligners all the time except for brushing and eating and I would suggest to use Chewies daily to help the teeth move into the aligners better, especially if you are trying to accelerate your treatment....and talk to your dentist to confirm it would be OK for you, they should be your final source if it is an option.

According to Invisalign, you can be changing you aligners weekly without Propel.  Propel will assure that your aligners are seated completely.  You should ask you dentist is Propel recommends changing more frequently than once a week, and if so, what research have they done to support this.
