Who can prescribe Latisse to me? I just want longer prettier eyelashes!

Question

I don’t have a medical reason for wanting latisse- I just want longer prettier eyelashes! How do I get latisse prescribed? Do I need to set up an appointment or see a special plastic surgeon or an ophthalmologist? I’m confused on how everyone obtains a prescription so easily

Latisse can be prescribed by a cosmetic dermatologist. Keep in mind, eventually Latisse results may plateau. A combination approach is needed. In combination with Latisse, I typically inject and apply topically PRP for a few treatments at the beginning to improve the growth rate of the lashes. Take viviscal as well. Latisse is a brand that is only sold in physician offices.  I would look for a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Dermatology office in your area.

Anyone with prescribing abilities can get latisse but it is always best to get it from a physician who is experienced with using it. This will usually be an aesthetic physician or ophthalmologist. The medication is very safe and effective but there are known side effects (rare) so it is always best to see a reputable provider.
