Hello, luckily there shouldn't be much concern. This medication originally and still is used as an eye drop medication for Glaucoma. However, the one concern that is seen in patients is browning of the eyes. Just one drop shouldn't be a big concern.
Hi caroldonahue,Latisse does not cause styes. However, if your eyelids got irritated and got infected by the bacteria on the skin, this will predispose you to developing styes. Even infected mascara wands can transmit infection from one eye to another.All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
