Everyone on here and my doctors all said that my ears wouldn’t be affected from the outside when harvesting cartilage for nose repair. Yet my left ear lobe, which looked attached like the right side shown, has looked like it’s been detached and hangs now. It’s devastating to me as I loved my ears and hugely regret this. My doctor says it looks great, it’s not noticeable. I’m already upset they look different from behind and this makes me so depressed. It never used to look this way, it always looked like the right, unaffected ear as shown for comparison in the photos. How can I fix this? Is it from some of the curvature that held the ear upright missing that's causing it to sag down? I'm so depressed.
