Been using minoxadil for 3 months now and some hairs are popping threw I dident have any hair there do you think I should start finasteride

Answer: Finasteride, minoxidil and Hair transplant By your account, minoxidil seems to be helping as you are seeing hair sprout. Finasteride has been reported to work best on the crown. Patients often use both medication together as there are reports of a small but added benefit when used together. See a hair restoration surgeon to discuss your case as there are other options ie hair transplant, laser etc.

Answer: Crown hair loss Based upon the severity of loss, you may be a candidate for grafts. PRP is an option, but is unpredictable in results. You should seek the advice of a qualified hair specialist prior to an intervention.

Answer: Hair loss I'd recommend switching to organic products for your shampoo and conditioner, and to look in to preventative medications like Finasteride and Minoxidil which has been proven to halt and even reverse hair loss. PRP would also be an option for you. Before starting any medications it is best to check with your physician.

Answer: Extensive hair loss Class 4 or 5 pattern Uou have Extensive hair loss with Class 4 or 5 pattern. If you are under 24, you might see value with finasteride, however such patterns, particularly in young men, are telling of an even more advanced hair loss pattern. See a good doctor and develop a Master Plan with that doctor, see below
