What can I do to ensure minimal swelling after Hyaluronidase injections?

Hi, previously I had a bad swelling in the local injection area after having hyarulinidase. My chin was significantly swollen for weeks that affected my speech when speaking. I am going to have another injection soon. What are some measures that can help swelling go down? I was told that antihistamines, ice or prednisolone might be helpful

Hi @Rljm2795! This is an excellent question. The tear trough is very close to the cheek so there is a chance that dissolving the tear trough area can possibly dissolve the cheek filler because the dissolving enzyme can spread.

DearSorry to hear about your issues.The problem is some HA fillers are hard to dissolve. Swelling can occur after dissolving but it usually settles in a few days.Jaw line filler itself once settled should be smooth and not lumpy suggesting an issue either with technique or reaction to the filler...
