I am so upset over this. I am 7.5 weeks out and I am devastated that after getting a lift my boobs are still uneven. I always had uneven boobs. One bigger than the other and it look like my boobs still look diff after surgery. Please tell me there is hope. My left breast (your right) needed the most work as it was my biggest boob and it’s the one that looks the most deform now. My right breast doesn’t have that crease under the boob.

Answer: Breast lift results Dear foxy747,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast lift surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your breast lift surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Is this normal? Will my boobs eventually even out? Lift with no implants 7.5 weeks post. (photos) Hello dear!! Thanks for your question and provided information. You are still early on healing process. Right now you might have one breast bigger than the other, feel swollen and also have bruises, it is normal and can happen for the first 4 to 6 months, until your implants have dropped and settle in. Be patient, it is too soon to determine your final result. If the situation doesn't improve over time, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)

Answer: Concerns after breast lift Hi thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately perfect symmetry is not something a surgeon can promise. Having said that you appear to have healed very nicely and have a very good result. If you remain disappointed with the appearance I would suggest you mention this to your surgeon who should explain the options available to you. Best of luck with your continued recovery.

Answer: Breast symmetry can improve with time and once you are healed, you will be allowed to critique your outcome and then decide if there are options for you to pursue in attempts to achieve symmetry. But you started out asymmetric and no surgeon promises perfect outcomes so you have to be careful of what you try to pursue as you can end up with worse outcomes. Size differences are easily remedied with either fat grafting or liposuction or even additional skin excisions and this can be done easily in the office under local. So focus on healing and try not to waste your emotional energy on things that cannot be changed until after you are healed. You have a marked improvement over where you started from and can always go for better with revisions.
