I have 36DDD breasts with severe ptosis and a deflated upper pole. The traditional anchor method turns me off with the vertical scar but also because it doesn't actually seem to lift anything, it just moves your nipple up and raises the bottom of the breast w/ the upper pole still deflated. The Bellesoma method lifts but the shape is often awkward (kind of "squished" flat against the body and square at the bottom from dog ears). Can this be avoided by going to a MUCH smaller cup size (B/C)?
Answer: Reduction shape The best thing to do in the circumstance is to research photos of breast reduction surgeons in your areas. They should be able to provide before and after photos. Most techniques still result in very natural shape to the breast as really only implants provide for super full upper poles.

Answer: Bellesoma Method As the inventor of The Bellesoma Method, I usually make the breasts proportionate to the patients body size. Also, dog ears can occur with this technique but can be corrected at 6 months at no charge. The breast is not actually squished against the body but the breast is incorporated into the muscle with a technique called myointegration. The excess skin is used to make straps then attached to the muscle which results in long term stability. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction Dear Powerful168360, breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Breast lifting is an art It is more important who is doing the lift/reduction than the technique used. The nature of the patient's tissues also plays a huge role. The benefit of the vertical scar in the anchor lift is that it provided more forward projection and a better cone shape to the breasts. The scars fade dramatically over the years and if you get a great and stable shape, most will trade for the scars to get that.
