Answer: Headache & nausea post op Hi! Sorry to hear you're feeling this way. Often times pain medication can contribute to feeling the way you do. If you don't have improvement within a day or two I would contact your surgeon's office to make them away of your condition. Good luck!

Answer: Headache & Nausea after Breast Augmentation Hello sutania, Thanks for your questions! I would recommend you contact the surgeon’s office since you have constant headaches not responding to analgesics. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and have both, your incisions and body temperature, checked. Fevers that are clinically significant are 101.5 or greater and they might be a sign of infection. Similarly, having nauseas might be an indication of drug allergies. In any case it is best to consult with your physician to rule out any post-surgery complications. Best regards! Dr. De La Cruz.

Answer: Sensations one week after breast augmentation I'm so sorry to hear that you don't feel quite yourself yet. It is a bit unusual although I've certainly had patients complain of something similar on occasion. Make sure you are staying hydrated- dehydration can always make headaches worse. Try to get away from all unnecessary medications which can have side effects. Despite the nausea, try to make sure you are eating a good range of foods including some high in fiber. Sometimes people's bowels move a little slower for several days after a surgery due to side effects of anesthesia and pain medication. Some constipation can make patients feel nauseated. Check in with your surgeon but I am guessing you will feel better in the next few days especially if you aren't taking any pain medication.

Answer: Symptoms after breast augmentation Sometimes patients have these symptoms for about a week and it is not clear why. If you are taking any medications, this is often the source of the problem. Either way, these symptoms usually just improve soon on their own. This is something you should make your plastic surgeon aware of.
