The cavity was removed and I’m scheduled to get my permanent crown in two weeks. I felt no pain two days post however now I’m having a lot of pain in my tooth. It feels like a cavity pain/nerve pain. I’m taking pain meds around the clock. Is it too soon to say if I need a root canal? Should I wait longer to see if the pain goes away before scheduling a root canal?
