Shaved around my slip area & did chemical peel & got burn. Any suggestions?

Hi I perform a glycolic 60 percent peel once a week and nutrilize with baking soda and water. I shaved around my upper lip and sides of my mouth and the next day did a chemical peel and it burn around there it's really dry and tight and hurts when I open my mouth and is starting to crack and peel. What should I do to help this heel?

When you shave and then apply acid it goes in much deeper and can be a problem. For now, apply Vaseline on moist skin to remain on as long as possible at night and apply 1% hydrocortisone twice daily. in the future i suggest you have a medical professional do your peels instead of doing them yourself
