It isn't usually recommended to have any procedure just before major cosmetic surgery to your nose, as the risk of introducing infection is much higher. The tattooing may introduce infection (similar to avoiding dental fillings or having an infected toenail where surgery would be cancelled) . It is far better to have it after your surgery is complete.
