Answer: Brazilian Tummy Tuck.
There are many ways of performing a tummy tuck. I have not heard specifically of a "Brazilian" tummy tuck, however a few concepts popularized by Brazilian plastic surgeons are unique. One is the incision placement. The incision is often place very low across the waistline to match the types of bathing suits commonly worn in Brazil. The second difference often performed in Brazil is a liposuction technique prior to skin removal. This liposuction technique (known as "discontinuous undermining") allows for release of the abdominal skin without cutting many of the nerves or blood vessels leading to a more sensate, vascularized tummy tuck. Outside of these certain techniques (which many US surgeons use, including myself), there is no one "Brazilian" tummy tuck. However, a Brazilian butt lift is another story... A quick search on RealSelf.com will lead you to plenty of information about that procedure.

Answer: Brazilian TT
Tummy tuck incision locations vary. For several years, Brazilian surgeons fashioned their incisions very low to match the bathing attire of their native women. These days we like to fashion incisions that fit "aesthetic units" and blend with natural body lines.

Answer: Brazilian "tummy tuck"?
Hi. I am not sure that you are not confusing Brazilian Buttlift with other procedures. There are certainly specific abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) techniques that some notable Brazilian surgeons prefer, which they lecture about. These may include liposuctioning areas that are then going to be undermined (separated from the underlying muscle layer), which many surgeons avoid doing in order to preserve blood supply, or specific techniques of shaping of the abdominal muscle layer. However, I do not think most plastic surgeons routinely refer to a "Brazilian tummy tuck," whereas the "Brazilian buttlift" is a commonly performed procedure involving liposuctioning fat from the abdomen or other areas and placing it into the buttocks to enlarge them.
Ultimately, your choice of plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck procedure should be made based on credentials, safety record, attitude, board certification in plastic surgery, bedside manner, and your comfort level with the information you receive during your consultation, including before/after pictures. Whether it is done using some sort of gimicky-named technique or not, it is more important to have a good idea of the techniques your surgeon uses and representative results.
