Plastic Surgery School That Offer Discount?

I would like to know if they're any plastic surgery schools in Los Angeles CA that offer tummy tucks at a discounted price Ive had 3 children and my stomach is just too loose and it's so uncomfortable but being a single parent I cannot afford to pay full price

Your question is excellent.  I am always surprised at people who go to non-board certified plastic surgeons then they can get much better surgery for a lot less at the resident clinics.  These doctors are months from finishing their training and they are supervised by oftentimes the most respected plastic surgeons in the community.  Call the plastic surgery departments at those programs and make an appointment. :-)

Yes, you will likely be able to find plastic surgery training programs where procedures can be done for less.  If I were you, I would want to have proof of your  plastic surgeon's experience level; ask to see lots of examples of his work and speak to previous patients who have had surgery with him.Be careful with your decision-making; undoubtedly, the most important decision you make in this regard will be selection ofplastic surgeon. Remember, if cost savings are an issue, that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways.Best wishes.

Most plastic surgery training programs have clinics that could help you out.  I would check out both UCLA and USC.  Call their departments of plastic surgery and ask about their residents' clinic.  You should be able to get your tummy tuck done there at an affordable price. Good lck,

Discounted plastic surgery is sometimes provided at academic medical centers with a residency program in plastic surgery.  This might be a good option if you are willing to have your surgical procedure performed by a resident, or trainee in plastic surgery, but supervised by an attending plastic surgeon.

There are several medical schools in the southland, most of which have Plastic Surgery training programs. Some will have a lower cost clinic at which the residents will do surgery under supervision. I was able to locate several on google. All the best.
