Payment options vary greatly for different practices. My office does not offer in-house financing, however, we do accept Care Credit Financing. It is quick and relatively easy to check if you qualify for a Care Credit account. It is used as a credit card with a set amount available for financing. They often offer 0% interest rates for 12 and 18 month agreements. Patients like using Care Credit since they do not have to disclose any financial information to us. In addition, my office accepts all major credit cards as well as cash and checks. Patients can also split up surgery payments between different cards, partial Care Credit, and cash. I would check with the specific surgeon you are considering for surgery and see what options are available.

Yes. Many Plastic Surgery offices offer payment plans through companies specializing in arranging payment plans for cosmetic surgery, including tummy tucks. Our office uses CareCredit and offers several of their plans. Almost no office does the financing themselves because of the federal regulations involved.
It sounds like you are having anxiety issues that are not related to the drains. If your anxiety is getting out of control then let your plastic surgeon know so that a medication can be prescribed, if needed.
Unless you have a lot of loose abdominal skin, usually from a lot of weight loss, standard approaches to a tummy tuck create far superior results. Few patients are good candidates for the more limited avelar tummy tuck which is done with no skin undermining.
