Omitting this part of the procedure will leave you with continued abdominal wall laxity and, in my opinion, a less than optimal result.Best wishes.

Answer: Avelar vs standard tummy tuck I agree with the other surgeon. Avelar is good for patients with extremely loose skin. It's a rarity to find a patient who is a good candidate for this procedure. Cheers
