Answer: Avelar vs standard tummy tuck I agree with the other surgeon. Avelar is good for patients with extremely loose skin. It's a rarity to find a patient who is a good candidate for this procedure. Cheers

Answer: Standard vs. Avelar Tummy Tuck Unless you have a lot of loose abdominal skin, usually from a lot of weight loss, standard approaches to a tummy tuck create far superior results. Few patients are good candidates for the more limited avelar tummy tuck which is done with no skin undermining.
