Wound would not heal after 6 months chin implant. Is my implant healed? (Photos)

Question

Rough skin appeared after 1 month below the lower lip. The opening for the chin implant would not heal for 6 months, staying red and no scar. The picture shown here is after 2 yrs, the rough skin persists and the wound is in grey indicating healed. When pinching the chin area, it hurts. Occasional sharp nerve pain. and itch still. My implant teeth #29 #30 failed and had to re-do and of course with lots of antibiotics. Is my implant healed?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
