Answer: Glasses Most plastic surgeons have been trained with microsurgery and the use of magnifying glasses for certain procedures. I personally see well enough that I do not use glasses for removing implants and capsules.

Answer: Do surgeons wear magnifying glasses in the operating room or only those trained in microsurgery? There are many surgeons that have just become more comfortable always wearing the magnifying glasses or loupes in the operating room and it also provides them some eye protection. It is not necessary to wear for all procedures and mostly personal preference in most general cases.
