Nasolabial Fold PMMA removal - can this be removed? (Photos)

Question

In 2007 I got injection of PMMA for my laugh lines , that time I had no idea what I was getting. I was 37 years old, I’m sure I didn’t need it, but the doctor in Brazil who also did my breast implants told me that I would look great, no sd effects or complications at that time. I have seen a lot of problems related with PMMA in the last years and I tried to not panic, since I was okay. The problem is I am 55 years old now, I take care of myself, I do Sculptra and Botox, I am avoiding any treatment in that area. I lost some weight and the PMMA got visible for me. Some times when I eat or breathing during cardio exercises I can feel it. It’s kinda annoying, and I want to take it out and be able to do any safe procedure that I want to. I live in Pennsylvania . Longterm filler problems include migration, edema, and nodularity. Filler migration and permanence is a very common problem because there are many different types of HA fillers on the market and each is specified for a specific part of the face. Use of highly cohesive fillers on thin skin may cause swelling and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or nodules, we recommend a combination approach of filler reversal with enzymes Hylenex and Hyaluronidase in different strengths to dissolve the filler. We may also need to add Kenalog to the mix in order to reduce fibrous tissue. If the filler does not dissolve, it either means the filler is not HA material or we need more enzyme. The HA reversal can be combined with other lasers and skin treatments at the same time, and it usually (usually) does not affect adjacent tissue.
