Question about VY-lip plasty & teeth show (Photo)

Hello. I’m going to get a rhinoplasty and interested in afterwards getting a VY lip plasty, plus maybe some fat transfer to give the illusion of a shorter philtrum. The reason I’m doing this and not a lip lift is that I scar incredibly easily. My question is, with the VY lip plasty, is they going to decrease/ my “teeth-show” (ie how well you see my teeth when I talk/small)? Or will it simply stay the same. Let me know if you can, thanks!

It is possible that you may benefit from a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
